Out of Boundaries

November 11, 2011 was a day most of the Cavscians surely won't forget. It was fieldtrip day. We were all excited getting inside our bus and have our way to our destinations. We had our first stop at Mall of Asia for the Science Discovery. It was awesome. There were a lot of things we were able to understand about the phenomena in our solar system. The auditorium where we had the show was great. It was better than the one we had in our Astronomy Day. After the out this world explanation about the solar system, we had our ways out the auditorium to experience the activities in the Science Discovery. There were different games and fun activities there. We had the chance to play volleyball in the virtual game and have soccer as our bonus game. I really enjoyed the game... :) We also had the chance to take a picture with the whole class and the sophomore students. SCIENCE DISCOVERY was REALLY GREAT!! :)

Our next stop was the Myth of the Human Body. In there, were several Chinese and a few European specimens which had undergone plastination. The specimens there were real bodies which were plastinated to be preserved for a long, long time. I pity those people used as models. They were plastinated after death. I hope they rely in peace in heaven. I wanted those people to experience relief, in a place where there is no sickness and pain. . .in heaven.

The next place we went through was the KULTURANG PINOY. XD I got the best experience there. =)) I wasn't really prepared that time. When the host asked for someone to participate for the dance showdown, my classmates automatically pointed me out. =O Gees! I was trying to pull Joanna that time but she didn't come with me, so I had to face the truth that I had to go there on my own.. In front of the audiences (which were actually our schoolmates), I stood with Erika Lucerna (she was the one the other group chose to participate to the dance showdown). THEN WE HAD IT. She did it first, with a simple dance. =) then I did it too, just some simple shake your booty thing. When they saw it, the host was like "Oh do yoou really wanna have some competition in here????" so he called "kuya Mark Herras" to have a showdown with me. =) I was like "ReallY???!!! Are you serious???!" ...But I had nothing to do but participate =) SO WE STARTED. . =)

He did some kind of hiphop grooves and figures.... now it's my turn. . =O It was so blank in my head that I just thought of showing some Teach Me How To Douggie moves so I can participate... And then the host came like "Douggie huh???! Okaay ..You'll have to face this" and I was like "What???!! The two of them???" (because they called another Kulturang Pinoy member to have the showdown with me) ..then I was like "Woah!! I'm in big trouble in here", but after they executed some exhibitions, all I can think of is having this KRUMP I learned from Kuya Kokii in our SALIW workshop (actually, I learned the Douggie from him too) ..SO I DID IT. . ^^
Stomp, arm placement, and your box of attacks... AT LAST .. Its done. =) a lot of thanks to Kuya Kokii.. =)

We had a discussion inside Kulturang Pinoy about dances, and there, Joanna and I had the chance to show our talents through following the figures kuya Mark Herras taught us. =) and we're done.. Next thing we did was go out to have this talk about the letter.. On our way going to the place we'll have the talk, kuya Mark Herras aproached me and said "Galing sumyaw ah.." then we had an apir ^^ I just said thanks for it with  a big smile
:)

Our last stop was MOA.. in there, I had the time to buy some books..and things which I bought for my brother. This field trip was one trip I'D NEVER FORGET. :) I hope the next field trips will be as successful as this one ^^

          HAPPY TEACHER's DAY !!!!

It was one great celebration on that day. The Supreme Student Government of Cavite National Science High School prepared a simple yet full of happiness program for the teachers. There were songs prepared by selected students in each year level for the teachers. The students gave an all-out performance for the people who stood as their second parents. Through their songs, teachers were able to feel they were special and they were also able to view the talents of their students.

This day is for them. For our second parents. For the people who stayed beside us in times we need them. One great time to take the opportunity to thank all of them for the sacrifices they made for their students. WE LOVE YOU TEACHERS, WE THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. :) There were also games prepared for the teachers. I am sure it was one day for them to treasure.

We thank you our beloved teachers for guiding us at all times and for the patience you're giving us in times you see no reason to calm, in times your world seems not to have peace, in times the world seems so noisy for you, we thank you teachers for everything. . . WE LOVE YOU ALL . . :)

We'll Fly. . .

NCAE :)

The Junior students got ready for the National Career Assessment Examination. We reviewed a lor for the exam. We had reviews everyday. The National Career Assessment Exam. This exam will help us choose which path to choose in the future. Through this exam, we'll know on what subject we excel.

September 30, 2011
The Junior students got inside the classrooms they were assigned to stay. I belong to the students who'll take the exam in the morning. I stayed in the Three-carbon room for I was assigned to take the exam there. Joanna, Jana, Twinkle and some of my other classmates were also there. The exam started and the attendance was being checked by our proctor. She seemed so serious but I got shocked when she told me I was beautiful. Oh my, I can't believed she said that. Anyway, that was just a little sort of sharing.  :)

Exam started. We made sure we'll take the exam seriously. This exam will help us reach the goals we tend to achieve. We made sure we'll apply  everything our teachers taught us in the review. This exam is so special. A stepping stone in the dream we can reach and soar in the future. . .

Lookig forward to the future, we'll reach everything as long as we strive and study hard to reach the peak of success. . . :)

Arran Eert :]

Pterocarpus Indicus. .

If I would be a tree, I'd be the Pterocarpus Indicus or the National Tree, the Narra tree. . I chose to be the Narra tree because like it, I am strong. I don't give up easily on problems and challenges I am encountering. Like the Narra tree, I don't fall even on the strongest attack of storms, and I won't.  It aso helps people, it serves as wood for furnitures. I can say that I can be one too. As a Narra, I can be made a chair for my friends. I will always be there in times they feel so tired and needed some place to rest and relax. I will always be there.

I can also say that as the Narra tree, I can help people in my own little ways by sharing whatever little I have in this world. A bark for their needs, food for their hunger, and a shelter for their loss. As Mavi, I can say that I will always be here for my friends and my family, to be their crying shoulder and the  person whom they can always run to. . I will always be strong for them..

On the other side, I am not only srtong but like the Narra's leaves that can produce honey, I can also be a sweet little girl at some times. To have not only a strong heart in times of despair, but also  a patient heart that listens to anybody's heartache. .

The Narra tree is very useful and I know, that I too, can serve people just like what the Narra tree does.

:)

WE ARE THE JUNIORS!!!

INTRAMURALS!!!!
Wooooh! I'm so happy! We had a two-day intramurals. It was so successful. I was so happy because in my freshman year, the intramurals we had was just like practices. We had it on three Fridays and every afternoon. In my Sophomore year, one day. AND NOW, in my Junior year, WE HAD IT TWO DAYS!!!! Yeah! I really am so happy! :))
I'm not just happy because of the two-day intramurals but also because of the activities we had. I joined the tug of war, and I loved watching the other games. I was also chosen to be the Ms. Pysique candidate. I really didn't know what to do. As a matter of fact, I had to get excused a day before the intramurals' yesterday to buy something to wear on the competition. A lot of thanks to Joanna for accompanying me in buying the sportswear. I really got tensed on the day itself. Because I REALLY AM NOT GOOD IN CATWALK, my teachers told me I was more sort of a  boy than Mhyllie, our Mr. Physique candidate.
The intrams was so successful. I cheered a lot for the RED FERRARI. We all did great. The Red Ferrari won the trophy for the basketball. So great! We had a tie with the Yellow Lamborghini in the overall rank. It was awesome. We sort of had a team bond with the Yellow Lamborghini. We cheered for them and they cheered for us. Nice =)) While the Blue Porsche had their bond with the Green Chevrolet. It was alright. The Blue Porsche became the overall champion and the Green Chevrolet ranked 4th. I was the 1st runner up for the Ms. Physique and Mhyllie was declared Mr. Physique. =]
                  The Intramurals was truly one memory I won't forget. . . =)

SONNET 116

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

A. Recalling
  1. Things that love is not according to Sonnet 116.
  • Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds or bends with the remover to remove.
  • Love's not Time's fool.
  • Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks.
   2.  Things that love is according to Sonnet 116.
  • Love is an ever-fixed mark that looks on tempests and is never shaken.
  • It is the star to every wandering bark, whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.

B. Interpreting
Love is forever. It stays the same. Even if it takes to pass through the hardest trials, heaviest burdens and strongest storms, love never changes. It remains to be true and unconditional. Honest and pure. Endless.

C. Extending
The speaker's interpretation of love for me is worth believing. Sonnet's message of what love is, is truly one thing a person knows true.
