Out of Boundaries

November 11, 2011 was a day most of the Cavscians surely won't forget. It was fieldtrip day. We were all excited getting inside our bus and have our way to our destinations. We had our first stop at Mall of Asia for the Science Discovery. It was awesome. There were a lot of things we were able to understand about the phenomena in our solar system. The auditorium where we had the show was great. It was better than the one we had in our Astronomy Day. After the out this world explanation about the solar system, we had our ways out the auditorium to experience the activities in the Science Discovery. There were different games and fun activities there. We had the chance to play volleyball in the virtual game and have soccer as our bonus game. I really enjoyed the game... :) We also had the chance to take a picture with the whole class and the sophomore students. SCIENCE DISCOVERY was REALLY GREAT!! :)

Our next stop was the Myth of the Human Body. In there, were several Chinese and a few European specimens which had undergone plastination. The specimens there were real bodies which were plastinated to be preserved for a long, long time. I pity those people used as models. They were plastinated after death. I hope they rely in peace in heaven. I wanted those people to experience relief, in a place where there is no sickness and pain. . .in heaven.

The next place we went through was the KULTURANG PINOY. XD I got the best experience there. =)) I wasn't really prepared that time. When the host asked for someone to participate for the dance showdown, my classmates automatically pointed me out. =O Gees! I was trying to pull Joanna that time but she didn't come with me, so I had to face the truth that I had to go there on my own.. In front of the audiences (which were actually our schoolmates), I stood with Erika Lucerna (she was the one the other group chose to participate to the dance showdown). THEN WE HAD IT. She did it first, with a simple dance. =) then I did it too, just some simple shake your booty thing. When they saw it, the host was like "Oh do yoou really wanna have some competition in here????" so he called "kuya Mark Herras" to have a showdown with me. =) I was like "ReallY???!!! Are you serious???!" ...But I had nothing to do but participate =) SO WE STARTED. . =)

He did some kind of hiphop grooves and figures.... now it's my turn. . =O It was so blank in my head that I just thought of showing some Teach Me How To Douggie moves so I can participate... And then the host came like "Douggie huh???! Okaay ..You'll have to face this" and I was like "What???!! The two of them???" (because they called another Kulturang Pinoy member to have the showdown with me) ..then I was like "Woah!! I'm in big trouble in here", but after they executed some exhibitions, all I can think of is having this KRUMP I learned from Kuya Kokii in our SALIW workshop (actually, I learned the Douggie from him too) ..SO I DID IT. . ^^
Stomp, arm placement, and your box of attacks... AT LAST .. Its done. =) a lot of thanks to Kuya Kokii.. =)

We had a discussion inside Kulturang Pinoy about dances, and there, Joanna and I had the chance to show our talents through following the figures kuya Mark Herras taught us. =) and we're done.. Next thing we did was go out to have this talk about the letter.. On our way going to the place we'll have the talk, kuya Mark Herras aproached me and said "Galing sumyaw ah.." then we had an apir ^^ I just said thanks for it with  a big smile
:)

Our last stop was MOA.. in there, I had the time to buy some books..and things which I bought for my brother. This field trip was one trip I'D NEVER FORGET. :) I hope the next field trips will be as successful as this one ^^
